SLEDDING

:

Sleddinghasbeen enjoyed in thewinter for

generations. It’s tonsof fun,and itdoesn’t requireany

specialskillsorequipmentother than a sled.

MAKE ICECANDLES

: Fill a small bucketwith coldwater andplace a paper orplastic cup in the center.

Place enough small rocks in the cup toalmost sink it. Place the bucket outside or in the freezeruntil the

water is frozen solid. Remove the ice from the bucket, and the cup from the center of the block. You can

loosen the iceby runningwarmwater over the bucket’s surface and the inside of the cup for a fewmoments.

Place a small candleat the bottom of thewellwhere the cup used to be and you have your ice candle!
