REGIONAL ASSOCIATION SPOTLIGHT:
PPAF
IN THIS ISSUE,
PPB
shines a spotlight
on one of the regional associations that support
the industry’s companies and professionals. The
Promotional Products Association of Florida
(PPAF) supports industry distributors and sup-
pliers throughout Florida with information,
professional development, networking and the
PPAF EXPO trade show, among other services.
“PPAF’s mission is to contribute to our
members’ professionalism, provide access to
effective industry business practices and
inspire financial success while implementing
programs to expand the use of promotional
products in Florida,” says Dana Geiger,
PPAF executive director. “We do this through
a variety of programs that encourage mem-
bers to participate in professional develop-
ment and networking events in addition to
features that save them time and money.”
PPAF has evolved in recent years, reflect-
ing the changes going on in the industry. In
2014, it introduced a new brand that reflected
the association’s new initiatives and its program
and leadership’s focus on connecting with its
members. PPAF’s leadership has also commit-
ted to providing new programs of value to its
members, including tools like a regional
coupon book and affinity programs, and plat-
forms for members to connect with each other.
The PPAF EXPO has also evolved, adding a
variety of opportunities for professional growth
and education, as well as an annual golf tourna-
ment and networking events.
Among the initiatives PPAF plans to
launch soon are a series of supplier-sponsored
“Eat & Greet” events—luncheons held
throughout the region connect members and
facilitate an environment for sharing ideas
and learning best practices, and Webinar
Wednesdays in partnership with other
District 2 associations. It is introducing a new
partnership with the PPAI Pantone Program
at the PPAF EXPO in August and updating
its website,
www.ppaf.com,with new
resources and information for members and
the promotional products industry.

ciation’s 2014 holiday party.
