Women from across the promotional products industry will be trav-
eling to New Orleans, Louisiana, July 27-29 to take part in the 12th
PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference. The three-day event’s extensive
education schedule features a session lineup relevant and topical to
women in the promotional products industry regardless of whether they
represent suppliers, distributors or business services companies.
The roster of speakers and sessions at WLC touches on all aspects
of being a leader in the promotional products industry.
And kicking off the schedule is an opening general session from
speaker and author JJ DiGeronimo on finding balance between pro-
fessional and personal paths. The president of Purposeful Woman and
Tech Savvy Women and the
author of
The Working Woman’s
GPS
and
Before You Say Yes
,
DiGeronimo’s session focuses
on key strategies for furthering
professional ambitions without
ignoring life’s goals.
The conference’s break-
outs, roundtables and general
sessions explore leadership
best practices, technology,
brand-building and more.
General sessions include
explorations of leadership and
how to apply the Myers-
Briggs Type Indicator to
understand personal leader-
ship styles, accelerating
change through greater
responsibility and what inspi-
rational leadership can do for
an organization. WLC also
invites attendees to join the
conference’s breakout sessions
and drill deeper on numerous other subjects relevant to industry
practitioners.
In WLC’s closing general session, business consultant and author
Dawnna St Louis will ask her audience to be the sort of leader they’d
be willing to follow. Author and head of the business consulting and
training firm, The Platform Expert, St Louis will shine a spotlight on
the sort of leaders who aren’t afraid to blaze trails, embrace crazy ideas
or to invite criticism, and how they get their teams to follow and per-
form beyond expectations.
