WHAT EMPLOYEES SAY ABOUT PICNIC TIME, INC.

(UPIC: PICN0001):

“I feel a part of the team and

my contributions help shape the future of the

company,” says 13-year employee Brandon

Vasquez. His one-year co-worker Guy

Espinoza says he loves working there because

it’s fun. “We don’t play ‘ping-pong’ for produc-

tivity or anything like that but we strive to keep

a light atmosphere while keeping a sense of

urgency. When we know we are all working

hard, we are able to see our successes are a true

correlation to the work we put into them. Our

company is family owned, and management

tries to support us and foster our success like

we are a part of their family.” Eileen Lucky,

who has been with the company for five years,

also appreciates the family approach. “When

life’s moments are shared and celebrated by

everyone, from new homes to marriages and

family additions, it helps bring a more cohesive

feel to the team.”Three-year employee Diane

Colangelo says, “Employees show respect to

one another as a matter of course. They con-

tribute ideas which are truly listened to and

which help the company to improve.”

HOW IT DIFFERENTIATES ITSELF AS AN

EMPLOYER:

“Picnic Time takes the time to

get to know each employee on a personal

level and takes pride in the type of individual

that works here,” says Lucky. “Every person

on the team has a true passion for what they

do and for the people around them, and it

shows in every face and voice of the company.”

Espinoza adds, “Everyone at Picnic Time

works with a true sense of urgency for the

customer. It is through building and fostering

these relationships that our company succeeds

and grows.” Tiffany Brewer, a four-year

employee, is impressed with the difference

employees can make. “This company listens

to their employees. We have made so many

suggestions to management, and they imple-

ment a majority of the suggestions. I work for

a company that hears our voices and cares

about what we think.”

events to reward successes and anniversaries, and celebrate birthdays, holidays and special events. In addi-

tion, employees and management frequently cheer each other on with congratulatory emails, and when the

company has a record-breaking month, it’s pizza-party time. Picnic Time also rewards employees for good

work with “core value” stickers they can turn in for Picnic Time products and hands out gift cards to local fine
