every month as I always glean fresh
ideas from its contents.
I was especially excited when the
June issue arrived announcing “Five
Easy Ways To Find Out Why
Customers Buy.” You can’t imagine
my frustration when I could not locate
the article in the table of contents on
page three. The only article that con-
tained the word five was “Five simple
solutions to get back your time and
sanity too.”
This was not the first time I had
fallen prey to the enticing tagline on the
cover only to discover the article didn’t
exist in the contents. So I have a very
simple solution to this opportunity. I
noticed in the contents that there are
four categories of articles: INNOVATE,
GROW, THINK and CONNECT.
Why not make the cover an extension of
the contents? Depending on the catego-
ry the article is in, list the category and
the page number on the cover. In this
way when I see a tagline of interest I’ll
know exactly what page to turn to and
begin reading. It’s a time saver!

Old Glory Gaffe
The Eye On Apparel section in
PPB
’s
July issue focused on the growing popularity
of Made-In-The USA apparel and featured
a number of apparel products.
Being involved with several para-
military organizations, a father of some-
one who is currently serving in the
armed forces and a veteran myself, I read
with much interest the article on pur-
chasing ‘American-made apparel.’ Thank
you for this feature article as I believe
there is a genuine concern to 'come back
home' by purchasing products made here
in the states whenever possible.
I do wish to point out one aspect of
the article that I'm certain was an inadver-
tent act but should, nonetheless, be point-
ed out. It appears that the picture of the
woman holding up ‘Old Glory’ shows that
the flag is touching the ground. I just
wanted to point out that this would be a
violation of the U.S. flag code and some
readers, like myself, would find it offensive.
Again, I'm sure this violation occurred
inadvertently, but I wanted to point this
out should you endeavor to repeat the arti-
cle in this, or any other, publication. I do
enjoy receiving this publication.
