How did your company enter the promotional products
market?
We originally joined PPAI back in 2006. We exhibited at
The PPAI Expo in Vegas and advertised in the new product sec-
tion. The night before the show, we were excited to see people
stopping at our display and writing down the booth number. The
next morning while having a cup of coffee and a muffin about 25
feet away from our booth, we heard over the loudspeaker that the
show would be opening in 10 minutes. I looked at my associate
and said, “We have plenty of time, relax.” We had two others in
our booth preparing. When we heard “show is now open,” we
looked up and our booth was engulfed in people. We had to fight
our way to get in to go help
the others.
After the show was over,
the president of PPAI stopped
over to say that he had never
seen a product have this kind
of impact at one of the PPAI
shows. We captured approxi-
mately 20 percent of the traffic
for the whole show. It was an
exciting time to say the least.
