PPAI • MARCH 2026 • 75 PPPC Communiqué | Community PPPC Delivered Canadiana, Community And Cool Vibes During The PPAI Expo 2026 Members and staff were energized by the connections, ideas and business opportunities for the year ahead. By Margaret Williamson Batuszkin FROM THE GREAT WHITE NORTH to the Vegas Strip, the Promotional Product Professionals of Canada brought Canadiana to The PPAI Expo 2026. In January, PPPC members traded winter coats for warm desert nights while attending the largest and longest-running trade show in the promotional products industry – and, of course, PPPC’s much-anticipated exclusive member party, presented in partnership with PPPC’s strategic partner, PPAI, and its technology partner, SAGE. Held at Rhythm & Riffs in Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort, the event delivered a welcome dose of Canadiana, offering members a relaxed and festive space to reconnect after the trade show floor closed. Featuring great energy with a distinctly Canadian twist, the evening was a true highlight of the week for members. Sponsors helped to elevate the event. Redwood Classics Apparel outfitted PPPC head office staff and board members with its iconic St. Lawrence red jackets – made in Canada! – which quickly became a standout and a source of national pride. StickerYou added a playful and highly visible touch with Canadian-themed stickers that members proudly affixed to their Expo badges throughout the show, sparking conversations among attendees. And BCG delivered one of the night’s favourite takeaways: custom wood Canadathemed coasters, destined to live on desks and in offices across the country long after Expo wrapped. More than 250 promo pros attended the exclusive PPPC member event, taking time to reconnect with industry peers, welcome new faces and share stories from the first exciting days of Expo. The atmosphere at Rhythm & Riffs struck the perfect balance – lively yet laid-back – creating space for meaningful conversations, laughter and a collective toast to the year ahead. Throughout The PPAI Expo, PPPC staff were also on hand at the PPPC booth, connecting with members and international promo professionals alike. Conversations focused on membership benefits, initiatives and what’s ahead for PPPC and its members in 2026. These interactions reinforced PPPC’s role as the voice of the Canadian promotional products industry and a key connector within the global promo community. Members left Las Vegas energized by the connections made, ideas shared and business opportunities ahead for 2026. PPPC encourages members to mark their calendars now for next year’s exclusive member event at The PPAI Expo 2027 on Tuesday, January 12, from 4:30-6 p.m., with more details to come later this year. Batuszkin is marketing and communications manager at PPPC. PPPC Chair-elect Jennifer Tarnopolski, PPPC President & CEO Jonathan N. Strauss and PPPC Board member Sergio Munoz enjoy the festivities.
