By Audrey Sellers Camp Season Is Calling Summer camps and promotional products go together like campfires and s’mores. One brings everyone together, and the other makes it memorable. From custom bucket hats on sunny mornings to logoed lanterns after dark, there’s nothing like promotional products to add more fun to camp life. Summer camps draw more than 26 million children and adults annually, according to the American Camping Association. There are more than 12,000 day and overnight camps in the United States alone. The market, projected to surpass $6 billion by 2033, continues to grow as parents look for safe and enriching experiences for their kids during the break from school. It isn’t just parents who see the value in summer camps. School leaders also want to see kids engaged in structured recreational, educational and social activities during the summer. A Gallup poll shows that more than 9 in 10 superintendents of K-12 schools say summer programs are important to achieving school goals. While superintendents place importance on academics, they also appreciate summer camps’ role in providing enrichment activities and fun opportunities for kids.
