By Margaret Williamson Batuszkin THE PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT PROFESSIONALS of Canada recognized its newest Momentum Award winners – Coretea Anthony, a customer service representative with SRG, PPAI 100’s No. 17 supplier, and Amzed Begg, general manager of Full Line Specialties – during its 44th annual awards ceremony in Toronto in September. Each year, the PPPC recognizes emerging leaders through its Momentum Award. The award is intended to spotlight momentum makers who are pushing past conventional boundaries to showcase their leadership potential, creativity and noteworthy achievements as they help to shape the future of the Canadian promotional products industry. To be eligible, nominees must have between one to five years in the Canadian promotional products industry and must be current PPPC members. Judges score entries on multiple criteria, including leadership, creativity, achievements and character. Both Momentum Award winners received a plaque during the ceremony to mark their win, along with a beautiful watch to commemorate the occasion, which was gifted by PPPC member Citizen | Bulova. Coretea Anthony | SRG In her three years with SRG (formerly St. Regis), Coretea Anthony has become an integral member of the team and its success. She is bilingual and able to manage ultra-tight timelines with ease. She consistently delivers under pressure and is adept at managing rush orders, last-minute changes and schedule crunches. Her attention to detail, calmness under pressure and proactive client communication have won her not just respect but loyalty from both clients and co-workers. But Anthony doesn’t stop at order fulfillment. She’s deeply invested in improving internal workflows and process efficiency, always looking for ways to smooth out bumps in the system. Her customer-first mindset supports SRG’s reputation as a top supplier in Canada and positions her as one to watch. Amzed Begg | Full Line Specialties Begg has quickly emerged as a driving force at Full Line Specialties. His strategic mindset, drive for innovation and ability to deliver value distinguish him among his peers. He’s played an instrumental role in expanding the company’s Eastern Ontario operations, helping to grow the territory both in reach and operational strength. Begg has also committed strongly to professional development and mentorship, not just for personal growth, but for industry growth. He’s demonstrating not simply excellence in his own work, but a willingness to pull others up with him as well. Raising The Standard This year’s winners illustrate what momentum in our industry looks like: It isn’t about individual success alone, but also raising the standard for service, collaboration and innovation. As industry needs evolve with tighter deadlines, more diverse markets, bilingual requirements, sustainability and ever-shifting expectations, professionals like Anthony and Begg are leading the way. For PPPC and its community, our Momentum Award winners give us a clear glimpse of where the industry is going in 2026 and beyond. The future looks bright!
