Printful’s humble beginnings started with an online store called Startup Vitamins, selling motivational posters for entrepreneurs. At first, every poster was printed in our co-founder’s living room. But as orders poured in, it quickly outgrew the space. We searched for a printing and fulfillment partner who could match our quality standards but came up empty. Taking matters into our own hands, we established our own printing and fulfillment operation, which evolved into Printful in 2013. Since then, we’ve grown into a highly skilled team with facilities worldwide. Over the years, Printful has collaborated with top e-commerce platforms, developed cutting-edge design tools and optimized our production processes. With over $83.7 million invested in state-of-the-art printing equipment, we’ve produced and delivered over 93 million items – fulfilling more than a million products every month. What led your company to enter the promotional products market? Printful identified an opportunity to address a significant gap in the promotional products market by offering an approach that is sustainable, flexible and costefficient. Our on-demand model provides businesses with an effortless solution for branded merchandise, delivering customization and affordability without requiring large upfront orders. By leveraging our global facilities and proprietary technology, we provide businesses with high-quality, customizable products that align with their branding needs, while also eliminating the high costs associated with overproduction. Providing our technology and platform allows us to bridge the gap between promotional merchandise and the convenience of print-ondemand, making it easier than ever for companies to create impactful products. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? My favorite thing is seeing creative ideas and requests, no matter how urgent, realized and come to life.
