Inside PPAI | Community PPAI’s Leadership Development Conference Evolves For Promo’s Future PPAI’s Leadership Development Workshop has long been a fixture on the promo industry calendar, bringing together regional association executive directors and board members for a concentrated dose of education and networking in support of their organizations’ success. In 2024, LDW evolved into the Leadership Development Conference, folding in a focus on the industry’s young leaders in its investment in fostering community and education. Held September 29 through October 1 at The Westin Dallas Southlake in Southlake, Texas, LDC brought together regional association leadership, the 2024 PPAI Rising Stars and other industry leaders. To accommodate attendees’ varied educational needs, at certain points LDC’s schedule shifted to two parallel tracks. This structure served both regional association volunteers and emerging leaders with separate and mixed networking opportunities and educational panels.
