Promo’s premier event for executive networking, leadership development and strategic foresight featured a distinguished international roster of speakers from both within and outside the industry. It’s the largest NALC attendance of the past decade, according to Dale Denham, MAS+, president and CEO of PPAI. “More importantly, the caliber of attendees is exceptional, which underscores the importance of this event and enhances its impact on each member,” Denham says. “NALC is the opportunity for industry leaders to step away from the demands of daily operations and engage in broad, forward-thinking discussions about the future. The education is tailored specifically for industry leaders and serves to ignite new ideas and foster innovation,” he adds. “NALC isn’t a meeting – it’s a transformative experience.” Sessions at NALC covered a wide range of subjects, which included building a culture of innovation within an organization, international cooperation, the state of the U.S. economy, finding growth opportunities in a chaotic business environment and more. For the second year, attendees also received a sneak peek at the PPAI 100 rankings, which weren’t announced to the larger promotional merchandise community until later in May. The 2024 rankings were revealed in a series of installments through NALC’s Sunday opening reception and Monday’s full day of education programming, with the final 30 announced that evening during a PPAI 100 celebration.
