Inside PPAI | Community PPAI Names Shannon Johnson, MAS, Director Of Executive Administration Near the end of 2023, PPAI promoted Shannon Johnson, MAS, to the role of director of executive administration. “This promotion signifies a well-deserved recognition of the exceptional leadership that Shannon brings to our team,” says Dale Denham, MAS+, PPAI president and CEO. “Shannon has brought great value to me, but more importantly, to our entire team, as well as the PPAI Board of Directors. Her tireless effort and unwavering commitment as our colleague haven’t only been impressive, but also set a stellar example for the entire organization.” Johnson originally joined PPAI in 2019 to manage PPAI’s Learning Management System and certification programs, as well as hosted webinars. Stepping away in 2021, she returned to the Association in February 2023 for an executive assistant position. Johnson’s new title reflects the role she has already been filling, Denham says, as she has consistently taken on additional responsibilities, including overseeing volunteer administration. “I love what I’m doing at PPAI, and I’m excited to continue growing in my role,” Johnson says. “I’ll continue to support the PPAI Board of Directors and the executive team. Getting the chance to work closer with all committees and regional members to increase engagement is something that I’m very excited about.” Danny Rosin Appointed To PPAI Board Danny Rosin, CAS, president and co-owner of North Carolina-based distributor Brand Fuel (PPAI 277900, D8), has been appointed to the PPAI Board of Directors. He will serve the remaining term of Joshua White, who announced in January he would take a reduced role at BAMKO to focus on entrepreneurial pursuits and resign from the PPAI Board. PPAI bylaws stipulate that a midterm replacement must come with previous Board service. Rosin previously served a full term on the Board from 2017-2021. “I was both surprised and knocked over smiling,” Rosin says of the opportunity to rejoin the PPAI Board. “I am honored to be asked back to help PPAI with its exciting strategic plan and volunteer at the highest level to support our members.” By stepping in for White, who joined the Board in 2023, Rosin will serve the entirety of White’s remaining term through The PPAI Expo 2027.
