As a former corporate finance professional, I understand the importance of having a bag that seamlessly transitions from the boardroom to after-work events. I wanted something that was functional and reflected a minimalist style. I scoured everywhere, and I didn’t care if it was unisex or made specifically for women, but I just simply couldn’t find it. That’s when I realized that there was a gap in the market for high achievers working in the professional setting. Since then, Lux & Nyx has empowered many trailblazers around the globe, and we’ve seen firsthand how a great bag can give someone the confidence to take on the world. It’s been amazing to see how Lux & Nyx has grown and supported so many trailblazers. And we’re just getting started! What led your company to enter the promotional products market? Our entry into the promotional products market was a natural extension of our mission. We believe that high achievers are the ones who work at companies that prioritize corporate social responsibility and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and we want to help organizations empower and elevate these high achievers through high-quality and sustainable products. We saw a lack of quality, sustainability and a strong brand message in the market, which was a pain point for companies looking for products to showcase and promote their corporate values. With our expertise in design, sustainability and manufacturing, we saw an opportunity to offer a more personalized and innovative approach to fill this gap. Our goal in this industry is to empower people in the diverse workforce with products that make them feel unstoppable and uplifted while proudly representing their company or brand. By partnering with like-minded companies, we can create a positive impact together that inspires social responsibility, diversity, equity and inclusion. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? We understand that high achievers spend the majority of their time in organizations that share their values. We’re passionate about supporting these high achievers and companies that champion diversity in the workplace. We believe that our clients’ promotional products should be a reflection of their commitment to making a positive impact, and we strive to help them achieve that with our highquality and sustainable products. Why did you join PPAI? I’m thrilled to be a member of PPAI because of the opportunity to meet interesting people who are dedicated to finding the best solutions to give the best experience to their customers. Aside from that, what really sold me on PPAI was attending a diversity event, where I learned that there’s a gap in the industry that Lux & Nyx can fill. It was so inspiring to see this movement live in this industry and how our products and values can make a difference in promoting diversity and inclusivity.
