Mason Linn Joins PPAI As Membership Manager PPAI WELCOMED ANOTHER NEW TEAM MEMBER, Mason Linn, to the fold in August. Linn joined the Association as membership manager, where he will lead the distributor membership team. In this role, he will drive recruitment and retention efforts while working to maximize member experience. Linn joins the staff with eight years of experience at supplier Raining Rose, making his new chapter with PPAI a return to promo. He began his career with the Iowa-based company in the promotional products division but spent his last four years there as a strategic brand manager for the contract sales division. Prior to Raining Rose, Linn worked with Dex Media, using phone book advertising to help local businesses promote themselves. Being able to focus entirely on elevating the promotional products industry through member engagement is a career step in the right direction, as far as Linn is concerned. “This new position is allowing me the opportunity to get back to an industry that I love and have missed for several years,” Linn says. “Being a part of PPAI and having the ability to work with not only the membership team but also our members is something that truly excites me.” Joining an already accomplished membership team, Linn’s first order of business is to get to know what his teammates excel at, how he can support them and where he can offer something new. “I am a big believer of dynamic teams leaning on their strengths to drive and facilitate growth,” Linn says. “Finding new and creative ways in which PPAI can provide value to our members will also be a primary focus of mine as I step into this new role. Outside of promo, Linn – along with his wife and children – love to play with their two dogs, Bogey and Divot. Together, they’re a big sports family and form their own collective Iowa Hawkeyes fanbase, perpetually excited and anxious about football and basketball season.
