ABIGAIL BROWN Owner Ohiowa Promo Columbus, Ohio PPAI 787526, D1 The PPAI Expo 2022 Returns To Las Vegas In January With Health And Safety Protocols In Place In September, registration opened for The PPAI Expo 2022, which is returning, live, to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on January 10-13, 2022. Following the opening of show registration, PPAI has received several questions regarding the safety steps PPAI is taking in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Healthpitality is the Association’s commitment to ensure the health and safety of show attendees and is an important part of the planning processes for every in-person PPAI event. The show rules will remain fluid as it is not possible to know with certainty what the CDC recommendations, and local and state requirements will be in January. At press time, and in alignment with current recommendations and regulations, masks will be required. It's important to note that our home for the week of The PPAI Expo, Mandalay Bay Resort and Mandalay Bay Convention Center (MBCC), is Global Biorisk Advisory Council Star-certified, an accreditation that is awarded to facilities with higher protocols in place designed to control the risks associated with infectious agents, such as the virus responsible for COVID-19. This includes being equipped with a highly effective ventilation system that is equivalent to the standard found in hospitals and medical venues. I encourage you to visit our Healthpitality page, expo.ppai.org/healthpitality , to learn more about this and the other practices and procedures that we will have in place to help ensure we are providing a safe environment for the industry to gather. This page will also be kept up-to-date as anything changes. ELLEN TUCKER, CAE Director, Business Development and Expositions PPAI Irving, Texas 8 | NOVEMBER 2021 | INNOVATE
