Lula’s Garden started when my daughter Leah (her nickname is Lula) was three years old and was very upset with me throwing away a flower bouquet that I had gotten as a gift. We visited a local nursery in search of a more sustainable alternative, and I immediately fell in love with succulents. In the next couple of weeks, I found myself visiting different nurseries, buying succulents and placing them around my house. At first, I didn’t realize the effect the succulents had on me—I just enjoyed their beauty and presence. Only after a couple of months did I connect the feelings of being more happy and relaxed with having the succulents around. I knew at that moment that this is something I want to do—gift wellness to others. What led your company to enter the promotional products market?
