How did your company get its start? Your Ears Rock was inspired by the opportunity to provide hearing aids to children and adults who otherwise would not have been able to afford them, and built off a passion to educate, increase awareness and improve accessibility to uniquely, custom-branded 3M, made-in-USA hearing protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE) products. What led your company to enter the promotional products market? Our company got into the promotional products market based on the demand we created for our products through a dedication to education and improving awareness as it relates to preventable workplace and recreational injuries, and providing accessibility to hearing protection and PPE as a solution to reduce the incidence and prevalence of preventable workplace and recreational injuries. For example, noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and tinnitus is the most common, permanent and preventable occupational injury in the world, according to the World Health Organization. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? Our favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry is the excitement we see in our clients’ eyes and smiles when they see their brand on the best-in-class products we manufacture, which play an integral role in keeping people safer, looking cool, and promoting safety and wellness with pride in their company, organization, association, special event, team and more. Why did you join PPAI? We joined PPAI because safety and wellness is an integral part of any organization, and we wanted to be part of an association that is also passionate about helping others and dedicated to improving awareness and accessibility to these products.
