He was 84. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Minster moved to Los Angeles after high school. He attended UCLA and served in Korea with the U.S. Army. Later, after a few career changes, he joined Jack Nadel International, where he spent most of his career working out of the company’s Culver City, California, office. He was a top salesperson at the company and is remembered by co-workers for his sense of humor and his love of family and deli food.
