In Canada, the cold weather begins well before the outdoor fun ends. We know you don’t have to be from Canada to appreciate cold weather conditions and trying to get added protection from the elements, whether it’s for your hands or your hiney. The Tubes brand started based on a need and a design I created, the Sport, to fill that need. Tubes Canada Innovations Inc. is the founding company for the Tubes brand. The Sport is the “winter coat” accessory item designed with multiple thermal layers and multiple functionality. It is for game-day fans, weekend warriors, travelers or even couch potatoes, and can be used all year long. It has an interior pocket for heat packs or storage, can provide neck or back support and can be unzipped into a seat cushion or reversed into a pillow, and has a strap for convenient carry. What led your company to enter the promotional products market? We saw opportunity in the Sport for promotional products distributors, big or small, as it can be customized. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? I am proud to be able to work with a talented, creative group in the promotional products industry who sees the Sport as a unique product offering and a great fit for their clients for 2020 and the future. Why did you join PPAI? PPAI is a great organization, offering education, support, direction and a trade-show platform to showcase and introduce the Sport to the promotional products industry. PPAI has been instrumental in assisting Tubes Canada Innovations with navigating through the waters as a new product offering in the promotional products industry.
