But when we spoke to promotional products distributors the response is not always as positive. Promotional products distributors, in many cases, have deep relationships with the same companies that are ordering food and wine gifts. The reason orders are being lost is due to the lack of comparable products, comparable pricing, fair shipping prices and the necessary personalization capabilities. Enter Broadway Basketeers. What we’re offering our distributor partners is in line with what the market is demanding. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? It’s helping others to be successful. We are helping the small-business owners and entrepreneurs just starting out in the promotional business or a PPAI member with 30 years of experience deliver new solutions to their clients. They are the fuel that feeds the growth of our company. They are the consideration at the beginning, middle and end of our decision process. As small-business owners ourselves, we understand that for Broadway Basketeers to be valuable to our distributor partners, we need to consider their needs and their customer’s needs in our product development and organizational decisions and, in turn, they will trust us with their business. We absolutely factor customer satisfaction into our bottom line, not just with our words but with our deeds. Why did you join PPAI? We joined because we saw tremendous alignment with the mission and values of PPAI.
