Allmade Apparel was originally conceived through the desire to provide a better screen- printable shirt to the market. In 2016, Ryonet, an industry- leading screen-print supply and equipment manufacturer, expanded on that original concept with 10 of its screen-printing customers to create a product that was not only great to print on, but made from sustainably- sourced materials and socially responsible labor practices. From these concepts, in 2017 Allmade Apparel was born. What led your company to enter the promotional products market? Allmade caters to a client who desires and requires a garment that not only is of great quality, but also made in a great way. Promotional product end users, from brewing companies to technology leaders, are realizing that fashion is the secondmost wasteful industry on the environment. The amount of water, chemicals and oil consumed annually by apparel manufacturing, and the hundreds of tons of trash created from low-quality, unethically-made garments that get thrown away, is ruining our planet faster than any other industry besides oil and gas. We originally set out to create a great product for screen printers, but promotional products distributors found us through their sourcing supply chains. We see it as a great opportunity to make an even bigger impact, one shirt at a time. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry ? Promo moves literally billions of products annually, and if you think about what percent of those products are used one year after they are made it’s frankly astounding. We are excited to help create and influence the use of better products made in a better way to not only give their intended purpose a longer and more useful life but create a positive impact on the world. Why did you join PPAI?
