Morrison Long-time industry supplier Cres Morrison passed away on September 13 after an extended hospital stay due to complications from throat cancer. He was 80. Morrison will long be remembered as another great industry icon, mentor and friend to many. He enjoyed a successful 45-plus year career in the promotional products and premium industries and was known for his willingness to lend a hand or offer advice to his peers as well as younger people entering the industry. He held many prominent executive positions with highly recognized writing instrument brands such as Gillette/Paper Mate, Ritepoint/Chromatic, Senator and Klio Eterna. Over the years Morrison served on several industry association boards and was a founding member of WRAP/V, the first supplier incentive travel program offered to distributors. Prior to retiring from the industry in 2016, Morrison worked with Linda Misiorowski and Associates as a multi-line sales rep and administrator for 10 years. His professional approach to business made it easy for competitors to become great friends. He was an inspiration achieving great levels of success throughout the years while also helping others succeed. Known for his quirky sense of humor and friendly demeanor, Morrison was approachable and fun to converse with during and after business hours. He is survived by his wife Frances, his four children Cyndi, Sandie (Tom), Doug (Linda) and Ken, five grandchildren, his sister Margaret and his brother David.
