Threadfast Hosts Interactive Event For alphabroder Inside Sales Staff Supplier Threadfast Apparel (PPAI 622344), headquartered in New York City, hosted a party for alphabroder’s (PPAI 156960) Philadelphia inside sales team in March at Arch Enemy Arts Gallery in Old City, Philadelphia. The event was held to recognize the alphabroder team for its support of the Threadfast brand. PromoCorner’s Bill Petrie Speaks On Customer Loyalty At IMAGEN Brands IMAGEN Brands welcomed Bill Petrie, president of PromoCorner (PPAI 110698), as a guest speaker in April at the company’s headquarters in Mason, Ohio. IMAGEN Brands is the parent company of suppliers Crown Products (PPAI 113430) and Vitronic (PPAI 114197). BPMA Celebrates TPMProgramGraduates The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) celebrated the accomplishments of its Trained in Promotional Merchandise (TPM) education program graduates with an event at The Royal Air Force Club in Mayfair, London in April. The BPMA’s TPM qualification is aimed at individuals who have up to three years of industry- specific experience. Students earned credits for the qualification through a series of mandatory and elective courses and by attending BPMA events. After earning 125 credits, students become eligible for the TPM exam. Champion Opens First Retail Store In LA Champion Athleticwear, which participates in the promotional products industry as supplier Hanes/ Champion (PPAI 191138), brought its brand to life by opening its first U.S. store. The specialty retail location opened April 7 in Los Angeles, California, in La Brea District, one of the city’s top shopping destinations. The Champion store features on-site customization, allowing shoppers to design one-of-a-kind Champion garments made on demand and tailored to their specific preferences. Additionally, there will be several specialized products only available in the Los Angeles store, and frequent product drops from the company’s global lines will be made. Regional collections inspired by the Southern California area in which the store resides will also be available and will include exclusive styles, colors and partnerships with local influencers. Petrie delivered a presentation on creating loyalty by reducing client friction. BPMA’s Head of Education Daniela Arena (center, front) and Director General Gordon Glenister (center, rear) presented the certificates to program graduates at the event. The three-hour event included hands- on and interactive experiences for attendees, including personalized direct-to-garment printing and instruction, on-the-spot sublimation printing and airbrushed personalized designs.
