NEW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT How did your company get its start? GC Incentives began as GiftCertificates.com 20 years ago, serving more than five million consumers and small businesses. Since then, GC Incentives has worked with over 65 of the Fortune 100 companies and over 30,000 corporate clients. Both areas of the company utilize our core product, which provides the recipient access to choose from a large variety of popular gift cards. What led your company to enter the promotional products market? We have a history of working with promotional marketing professionals and realized our solution provided an easier way for them to offer popular gift cards to their customers without the hassles of managing fulfillment and customer service. Our unique business model of supporting small and large organizations means there are no minimums. In addition, we provide tools for them to sell incentive programs like expiring codes and games, as well as integration into their online catalogs. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? We’re excited to help promotional marketing companies protect and expand their business by offering a gift card solution to their clients. Many of them know their clients are buying gift cards but they stay away from going after that business because they don’t know how to provide a solution and make money at it. Why did you join PPAI? GC Incentives is very active in the incentive and recognition industry. Joining PPAI to learn and to contribute to the body of education is important to us. We see PPAI’s membership as a key factor in our success to learning this industry.
