The PPAI Expo 2018 Draws Praise With an extensive show floor and countless products, a comprehensive education lineup and numerous opportunities to connect and networkwith industry colleagues, The PPAI Expo 2018 offered something for everyone. I’m three months into this new adventure called promotional sales and I love it . Roy’s [Spence, Expo opening general session speaker] conscientious involvement with his clients is the way that I want to do my work too. Thank you, PPAI, for a tremendous and innovative show, great speakers and terrific vendors. I look forward to practicing what I’ve learned. GIGI ERWIN Outside Sales Representative Logotricity Arlington, Texas PPAI 102784 The 2018 PPAI show was my very first, and the first thing that comes to mind when I look back on it is “Wow!” I didn’t realize how big the whole event was. When I first walked in and saw the [row] numbers up above and saw Aisle 3,000, I thought to myself, “Well, I’m right in the middle, should I go left or right?” It was interesting how there is a booth for just about anything in that show. After my first day I mentioned to my colleagues, “I’m halfway done.” They laughed! I like that there was a specific location for just the new 2018 products. Although there was so much to take in, I had a great experience! Before we even stepped on the show floor, the trip was worth it. Great location, professional environment, well-planned education sessions, helpful staff and terrific speakers. The opening session speakers were awesome and just what we need in today’s world— positive attitudes with hopes and plans to make things better, beginning with us and our businesses. As an independent distributor of 10 years, I too have learned the hard way. Last year, I hired an attorney to draw up a contract protecting my creative work. Having this contract ready to go as needed has given me a boost of confidence as I know that my time and creative energy will not be wasted.
