commonsku Draws 100+ To Inaugural Boot Camp commonsku, a Toronto, Ontario-based provider of promotional products business and sales software, held its inaugural Business-by-Design boot camp in October at Palm Springs, California’s Ace Hotel. The three-day event gave more than 100 industry professionals opportunities to network and attend a series of workshops to help build and expand their businesses. Topics covered included mastering the art of selling, business growth and scaling strategies, purpose-driven brands, authentic brand experiences and emerging trends in e-commerce, among others. In November, PPAI hosted a meeting of invited experts and members of the Association’s Product Responsibility Action Group (PRAG) to discuss California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, more commonly known as Prop 65. Participants discussed the latest updates to Prop 65, how it affects the industry and how best to educate and update promotional products companies so they are in compliance with the new regulations. commonsku’s inaugural Business-by- Design boot camp included several opportunities for attendees to make industry connections.
