We started in the consumer product space back in 2001. Over the years, we have built a reputation for excellence in distribution, innovation in design and relationships in business, primarily with retail partners. We hold numerous patents and trademarks in both domestic and international markets. Our design approach has always been rooted in developing items people love by putting the user first in everything we do. We love to find creative solutions for everyday problems. What led your company to enter the promotional products market? With over four million units sold in retail, FrostGuard has become a household name for favorite wintertime solutions. It prevents the need to scrape frost, ice and snow off of your windshield. Because of its utility and large billboard effect, we started receiving calls from small and large businesses requesting their logo be printed on them for everything from customer loyalty programs to employee holiday gifts and even fundraising. We knew there was something exciting going on and we wanted to be a part of it. Why did you join PPAI? We made the strategic decision to go the distributor route because of the strong sales networks that its members have. PPAI is known as one of the top-tier organizations in this space, and to be anyone in it, you must build a successful presence and audience. PPAI serves all of the marquee businesses that we hope to bring into the FrostGuard franchise—giving businesses and people both a unique and significant branding opportunity (our print area is three feet by two feet). What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? Everyone is so helpful and supportive. Every trade show I go to, people have great insights and suggestions about how to improve our network, whether it be shows to attend or people with whom to speak. Even feedback on how to improve our POS and literature. People really know what they are talking about and it’s an incredibly sincere community of business professionals.
