PPAI’s Barnett Speaks On Reaching A Younger Market At UMAPP Expo In August, PPAI Diversity Development and Engagement Manager Seth Barnett joined the Upper Midwest Association of Promotional Professionals’ (UMAPP) Holiday Showcase & End Buyer Expo inMinneapolis, Minnesota, to speak on reaching a younger audience. Barnett says, “This was the first end-user show that I have presented at where distributors were encouraged to bring their customer tomy presentation. The great thing about doing a program this way is it helped distributors bemore of a resource for their customers as they progressed through the show. Speaking to an audience of distributor attendees and their invited clients, Barnett tailored his message to focus on the broader topic of mastering the Millennial market, including social media usage and connectivity skills. Geiger Brings Annual Galleria To Atlanta Distributor Geiger held its 10th annual Geiger Galleria in August at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia. The three-day event drewmore than 400 attendees, including Geiger sales partners, associates and industry representatives, and offered industry education, a private trade show, motivational speakers, sales recognition and networking opportunities. The Geiger Galleria’s education schedule included a presentation from motivational speaker Dan Nevens, insights on Geiger’s vision and direction from Gene Geiger, MAS+, CEO and president, and Dale Denham, MAS+, chief information officer. PPAI Vice President of Business Development Alan Peterson joined the Geiger Galleria to share the Association’s perspectives on opportunities for the industry.
