FAST FORWARD
Struggling to keep up with all
the social media marketing on your
to-do list?
To simplify Facebook ads for
small-business owners, Vistaprint
has introduced an online tool called
Social Postcards. The service lets
businesses turn their print materials
into ads, choose the target audi-

results from one dashboard.
Vistaprint and its digital services
business, Webs, worked with
Facebook to create the service for

Yum brands’ fried chicken purveyor KFC is experiment-
ing with edible packaging in a promotion timed to coin-
cide with its introduction of Seattle’s Best Coffee to its
menu. The coffee will be served in cups made of wafers
coated in sugar paper and lined with heat-resistant white
chocolate. Heat from the coffee will slowly melt the
chocolate and soften the wafer, resulting in a biscotti-
style treat.
Drum Something Up
Here’s a twist on product integration. To coincide with the
release of its new record, all-female rock band Sleater-
Kinney is selling limited-edition drumsticks signed by the
band’s drummer, Janet Weiss. The drumsticks come with a
free download of a drumless version of one of the songs
on the album, so fans can play along at home.
