what people know, but do not want to
change. Bringing the value we all do
into our own, distinct part of the supply
chain is important today, just as it will
be in the future.
I call on distributors and suppliers
alike to think of each and every order
as a part of a partnership. No one needs
to “go to the bank,” literally, on each
order. So, consider that all parties are
investing in making the order a success,
and more long-term, true partnerships
will arise.

Great stuff, Joe. Now, let’s hope our
industry peers have the courage, integrity
and conviction to follow suit. I’d be
happy to help anyone set up a plan.

The Value Of Education
PPAI is offering an extensive lineup of
Product Safety Awareness program courses
at The PPAI Expo 2015, both as part of the
show’s education schedule and on the show
floor for exhibitors. The program is designed
to foster an industry-wide commitment and
culture where companies are not only aware
of product safety, but engaged in the discus-
sion, and it requires every member company
wanting to gain access to the PPAI market-
place—as a sponsor, advertiser, trade-show
exhibitor, etc.—to complete a minimum of
four hours of product safety education no
later than the start of Expo East 2015 in
Atlantic City, New Jersey, March 12-15.
I
highly
recommend these courses to
everyone in our industry. You will not
survive in the future without this knowl-
edge. That is serious. The product safety
issue has just begun. Get on board now
and be in the know. You’ll be happy you
did in the long run.
