SPONSORED CONTENT Built on Heritage, Driven by Evolution In a new generation of ownership, legacy headwear supplier Cap America is keeping its values at the heart of business. FOR FOUR DECADES, CAP AMERICA has grown by staying grounded in the values on which it was founded: decoration quality, strong relationships, retail relevant products and a deep commitment to employees, customers and the surrounding community. Phil Page founded Cap America in 1985 and remained its owner for 40 years. Through his leadership, he helped guide the company’s long-term direction, support its growth, and establish the family-owned culture that continues to define the business. On October 1, 2025, Phil sold the company to his sons, Jon Page and Cory Cissell. Their purchase marked the beginning of a new generation of family ownership and leadership while preserving the values, relationships and community connections built over the previous four decades. For Jon and Cory, the transition represents both an opportunity and a responsibility. Their focus is not on changing what Cap America stands for, but on evolving how the company operates so it can continue to grow, compete and serve its customers for years to come. Operational efficiency is a central part of that strategy, with each improvement designed to help Cap America serve customers faster, communicate more clearly and respond more effectively to their changing needs. That effort is supported by strategic reinvestment in six key areas: employee education, new product development, inventory, technology, decoration offering and partnerships. Inventory remains a major priority. Cap America continues to invest in strong, dependable inventory positions so customers can respond quickly to demand, meet tighter deadlines and confidently support their own growth. Technology is also playing a larger role in the company’s evolution. Cap America is developing internal systems to improve production tracking, workflow management, communication and operational visibility. These investments help reduce unnecessary steps, identify challenges earlier and create a more seamless experience from order entry through production and delivery. The company is equally committed to investing in its people. Training, equipment, communication and professional development help build stronger teams while creating opportunities for employees to grow. As a family-owned business, Cap America understands that long-term success depends on people who feel valued, supported, and connected to a shared purpose. Customers remain at the center of every decision. Through stronger inventory, improved speed, expanded capabilities and greater transparency, Cap America aims to become an even more valuable and trusted partner. The company is also strengthening relationships with suppliers, technology providers and industry partners to create new opportunities for innovation, efficiency and shared growth. Built on heritage and driven by evolution, Cap America is entering its next chapter with renewed energy and a clear sense of purpose. Ownership has moved to a new generation, but the commitment remains the same: Invest in people, serve customers well and continue building a company that can thrive for generations while remaining proudly rooted in Southeast Missouri and supporting its community. A special thank-you to our customers – we’re excited to support your future headwear needs and grow together. Learn more: Visit CapAmerica.com.
