PPAI • JUNE 2026 • 91 PPPC Communiqué | Community Tee Time: Chapter Golf Tournaments Drive Member Connections The events bring Canada’s merch community together for a mix of networking, friendly competition and sponsorship-driven brand visibility. By Margaret Williamson Batuszkin THE PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT PROFESSIONALS of Canada is swinging into summer with its annual chapter golf tournaments across Canada. A long-standing member favourite, these tournaments offer more than just a day on the course. They bring together suppliers, distributors and multiline representatives for a unique mix of networking, camaraderie and friendly competition, all set against the backdrop of some of the country’s top golf courses and scenic views. The 2026 lineup tees off on the West Coast with the PPPC British Columbia Chapter Golf Tournament on June 4 at the Country Meadows Golf Course and Restaurant, followed by the PPPC Manitoba Chapter Golf Tournament on June 10 at The Player’s Course. The series wraps up with the PPPC Ontario Chapter Golf Tournament on June 24 at Piper’s Heath Golf Course. Each event promises a full day of fun and a solid sense of community, along with some friendly banter and prizes. Sponsorship opportunities range from golf carts to hole activations to golf-themed experiences, offering members a high-impact way to increase brand visibility in a relaxed, highly engaged setting. It’s a unique opportunity to spark conversations and leave a lasting impression throughout the day. The golf tournaments are open to golfers of all skill levels and create space for both seasoned players and first-timers to participate, whether aiming for closestto-the-pin bragging rights or simply enjoying time with industry peers. The day typically concludes with postround gatherings, where members dine, conversations continue, relationships deepen, and stories from the course are shared. Participants are required to pre-register for the golf tournaments and can choose from a variety of packages, ensuring there’s a way for everyone to be part of the experience. Options include golf-only, golf with dinner or dinner and networking options for non-golfers. More than just a summer outing, PPPC’s Chapter Golf Tournaments are a reflection of the association’s strong community spirit. Thanks to the hard work of PPPC’s provincial chapter and association volunteer leaders, members have the opportunity to step away from the dayto-day to reconnect in person and strengthen relationships that drive business forward. Whether you’re swinging for birdies or simply enjoying a day outdoors, PPPC’s Chapter Golf Tournaments remain a highlight of the summer calendar, where the industry comes together to work hard, play harder and celebrate the power of connection.
