PPPC Communiqué | Community Mark Your Calendars PPPC releases the dates for its national convention, coming to Toronto in September. By Margaret Williamson Batuszkin THE PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT PROFESSIONALS OF CANADA has announced the dates for its 66th annual National Convention, aka NATCON, the Canadian promotional products industry’s biggest and most anticipated event of the year. The two-day event is happening September 9-11 at the International Centre in Toronto. The event will bring over 100 suppliers featured in more than 180 booths during the trade show to showcase the industry’s latest products, innovations and technologies. More than 1,000 distributors and their clients from 450 companies will be in attendance. Day two of the event allows distributor attendees to invite their clients for “Client Day” to meet with top suppliers and get up close and personal with the latest promotional products. Client Day is designed to inspire and help them plan for upcoming events and campaigns. Distributor members also have the opportunity book one of several hospitality suites at the venue to treat their clients to a unique experience and meet one-on-one. Each of the distributor hospitality suites highlights a fun theme brought to life by featured merch. PPPC’s supplier members are also afforded sponsorship and advertising opportunities by PPPC during NATCON to help them stand out among the promo pack and increase their exposure. The 38th annual PPPC awards and networking party also takes place during NATCON on September 10 at the Royal Woodbine Golf Club’s Clubhouse and Vue venues. The evening will kick off with a pre-awards ceremony cocktail reception followed by the awards ceremony, where PPPC will recognize the best of the best in the industry. The awards ceremony will be followed by an after-party featuring a DJ and a delicious selection of food stations and beverages. The new year promises to be an exciting one for the Canadian promotional products industry, commencing with the TOPS+ five-city trade show tour February 13 through March 1, followed by NATCON and the PPPC Awards in September.
