New Member Spotlight How did your company get its start? We were inspired to go into business when we came across a fabulous new resin product, made by our friends at EcoPoxy, called UVPoxy. When we saw how incredibly beautiful the resin was, we wanted to create something new and special with it. So, we combined the eco-friendly resin with gorgeous hardwoods, and our line of cheese boards and serving trays was born. We started out small, posting to social media and creating a website, but soon after, we were approached by a few gift and tabletop stores that were interested in carrying our products. Our boards started flying off the retailers’ shelves, and the number of wholesale customers we had grew very quickly. We were blown away. What led your company to enter the promotional products market? We purchased a laser engraver in 2021 so we could offer personalization on our boards for both our retail and wholesale customers. We started noticing companies reaching out to us for employee gifts and corporate gifting orders. They were drawn in not only because our boards were beautiful, but also because they could be personalized. Quickly, we realized there was a huge untapped market for us where our products could really add something unique to an industry that is changing to higher-quality, North Americanmade products. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? We love the excitement and fast pace of the promotional industry. The opportunity to work with big brands we know and admire is still surreal for us. Designing names and logos on our boards and getting to be creative with brand colors is so much fun. And the people – whether it’s other suppliers or distributors, there is a huge team atmosphere, and everyone seems happy to lend their expertise and advice as we enter this new market with our products. We are really looking forward to meeting all our new connections at PPAI Expo in January. Why did you join PPAI? PPAI was the No. 1 name everyone told us when we mentioned we were interested in becoming a promotional products supplier and breaking into this market. They are the most well-known name with great support and the biggest expo to showcase our products and meet our customers.
