U.S. business travel saw a 40-percent decline, amounting to 185 million business trips throughout the year and totaling slightly over 510,000 trips each day. U.S. business travel spending fell 30.5 percent to $109.4 billion, and it accounted for 16 percent of total travel spend; nearly half of the 2019 figure. But the economy is resilient and people are ready to get back to business and life as usual.
